bringing in disruption in indian telecom industry ,relience industries on september 1 announced free voice calls and roaming services for users,while data would be charced at one tenth of the prevailing market rates.
starting sep 5 custemet have been given free welcome offer under which jio is providing free data,voice and video to user till december 31,2016
however as per media reports jio is likely to extend its welcome offer for three more months to march 2017
media reorts say that announcement regarting this is expected to be made on december 28.under jio plans the effective rates are Rs 50 per GB.
under plan RS 149 ,user get free voice (local and std),free roaming and 100sms alongwith 0.3GB og 4g data.
Under the Rs4999 plan,user get 75gb of 4g data as well as unlimited 4g access at night for a period of 28 days
other plans would be available for Rs 499,Rs999,Rs1499,and Rs3999.all the plans excluding the rs 149 plan,bundles in free unlimited sms.
undet these plans(except Rs149 plan),subscribers also have wifi access(with various amounts of usage)from jionet hotspots.
